We have been running weekly Book Clubs during the pandemic, free of charge to all current and former Literacy Club pupils.
These have been well attended (online) and successful.
I have found that as well as diving deep into the Harry Potter universe, we have been able to cover a great deal of writing and general literacy discussion.
The children's insight and understanding of human nature, courage and good and evil has humbled me!
We have completed Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone with Year 4, and Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows with Year 5/6 - and Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets with all children.
We usually have over 60 children each week in the online club.
We return on Sunday 6 June in the evening, and will be starting Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban!
As you can see below, we take Harry Potter very seriously (or should that be 'Siriusly'?) at Literacy Club!
